Filmin Konusu


19yy.'da Avrupa'yı neredeyse vampirlerin işgali altındadır. Abraham'ın ailesi vatanlarından yeni dünya topraklarına vampirin zulmünden kaçarak gelmiştir. Fakat kısa sürede Abraham buradada ailesini vampirler yüzünden kaybedecektir. İntikam yemini eden Abraham büyük oynar ve Amerika topraklarına başkan seçilir. 11 Güney Eyaleti ile Washington yönetimi arasında çıkan İç Savaş, vampirler ve insanlar arasındaki geçen iktidar mücadelesine dönüşecektir. Lincoln, vampirlerin kökünü kurutmaya kararlıdır...

İç Savaş'ın en önemli ikonlarından biri olan eski ABD başkanını çok farklı bir rolde izleyeceğimiz proje, klasik konulara getirdiği farklı yaklaşımlarla ünlü yazar Seth Grahame-Smith'in aynı isimli romanından uyarlandı. Daha önce Jane Austen'in kült kitabı Gurur ve Önyargı'sına zombileri ekleyen Grahame-Smith, Lincoln'ü ise bir vampir avcısı olarak ele aldı.

Yönetmenliğini Timur Bekmambetov'un yaptığı film, Abraham Lincoln'un 'gizli günlükleri' üzerinden nasıl vampir avcısına dönüştüğünü anlatıyor... Filmin kadrosunda Benjamin Walker, Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead gibi isimleri izleyeceğiz
